Bryce Courtenay, AM (14 August 1933 – 22 November 2012) was a South African/Australian promoting chief and author. He is one of Australia's top of the line writers, eminent for his book The Power of One.

Arthur Bryce Courtenay was conceived in the Lebombo Mountains, South Africa, the child of Maude Greer and Arthur Ryder.
